The Curse of B'zhang!

Roooooooooock

Our first EP "The Curse of B'zhang" has finally hit the digital shelves this week. Turns out we didn't need yr hlp at all, doing everything our own damn selves. The album tells the tale of the mighty entity B'zhang and his battle to save all of your creative souls. More on that in the weeks ahead. In the meantime, help yourselves to the album over at our Bandcamp, or give us some money for it, or wait for it to hit iTunes, eMusic, and Amazon if you're some sort of weirdo.

Post View - dakotah Rose

One last post view for a terrific act that was a late addition to our March 14th Swing State bill.

From the dakotah Rose MySpace:

dakotaHrose started with a four-year old in a living room, with a voice and an upright piano and the rest is history. A classically trained pianist that prefers unstructured jam sessions and a self-taught pseudo-guitar player of 5 or 6 years, dakotaHrose is a quirky individual with a love for music that stemmed early-on. Her passion unfolds into her lyrics and musical wonders, and she brings it all alive while performing. With many influences stemming from all different walks of music, dakotaHrose welcomes many different sounds for a musical style all her own. On stage she shares a love for guitar and piano, and unable to play them both at the same time, let's herself switch on and off between songs for a versatile performance. With lyrics heavily influenced from life, love, experiences and her passion for life and music. dakotaHrose writes music to let her think all the time without thinking at all, and anything from her that you hear is a product of a lady musician forgetting the inhibitions or worries of vulnerability, and trying to create something new in this world with a fearless hope in the power of music and creators. She plays to express, not to impress, and therefore doesn’t try to fit into one genre. Although if one day she does…..she’ll be ok with that.
